Transparency

Transparency is fundamental to trust and credibility. AWEDO shares relevant and accurate information about its programs, activities, use of resources, performance, achievements, challenges, and lessons learned.

  • Report achievements, challenges, and learning to stakeholders.

Safeguarding

AWEDO is dedicated to a safe and respectful environment for everyone involved in our work. We maintain zero tolerance for abuse, exploitation, harassment, discrimination, and misconduct.

Our Commitments Include:

  • Protect women, children, staff, volunteers, partners, and beneficiaries from harm.
  • Promote dignity, respect, inclusion, and equal treatment.
  • Maintain clear and confidential reporting and response mechanisms.
  • Provide safeguarding awareness and training for staff and partners.
  • Take prompt, fair, and appropriate action when concerns are reported.

Community Feedback

Community voices help AWEDO improve its work and ensure programs respond to local needs and priorities. Beneficiaries and stakeholders are encouraged to share suggestions, appreciation, complaints, and concerns.

Our Feedback Mechanism Aims To:

  • Provide safe and accessible ways for communities to share their experiences.
  • Improve the quality, relevance, and effectiveness of programs.
  • Promote participation and local ownership.
  • Address complaints fairly, confidentially, and promptly.
  • Use community perspectives to improve future interventions.

Feedback may be submitted through community meetings, suggestion boxes, telephone, email, or direct communication with AWEDO staff. All feedback is reviewed carefully and treated with confidentiality and respect.
