Ethics, Anti-Fraud & Integrity

AWEDO standards for ethical conduct, conflicts of interest, anti-fraud, anti-corruption and responsible use of organizational resources.

Integrity Standards

AWEDO expects decisions involving programs, people and resources to be made lawfully, fairly and for legitimate organizational purposes.

Fraud & Falsification

Fabricating records, invoices, attendance, beneficiary information, procurement documents or other organizational evidence is prohibited.

Bribery & Kickbacks

Personnel and suppliers must not offer, request or accept improper payments or benefits intended to influence a decision.

Conflicts of Interest

Personal, family, financial or business interests that could affect impartial decision-making should be disclosed and managed appropriately.

Assets & Funds

Organizational money, equipment, vehicles, data and other resources should be used only for authorized purposes and supported by appropriate records.

Recruitment & Procurement Integrity

Jobs, contracts and awards must not be sold. AWEDO does not charge fees for applications, bidding or selection.

Speak Up

Suspected fraud, corruption, retaliation or serious misconduct may be raised through official feedback and complaints channels.
