AWEDO works to prevent violence, abuse, exploitation, harassment, and discrimination through awareness, education, advocacy, safeguarding, and community engagement. We promote safe and respectful environments where women and girls, and vulnerable people can live with dignity and without fear.
Women and girls need safe information, confidential reporting options, supportive referrals, and respectful community engagement. Prevention work helps reduce risks, challenge harmful behaviour, and strengthen protection without exposing survivors to further harm.

Staff, volunteers, partners, and community representatives receive training on safeguarding, protection, and responsible response.
