Award
As part of the project “Inclusive Participation of Voters in the Upcoming Presidential Elections,” AWEDO organized and conducted a live election debate show to raise public awareness and encourage voter participation.
The event was held at SRTN Hall in Kabul on November 01, 2018, from 4:10 PM to 5:10 PM. A total of 260 participants attended the program, including 80 women and 180 men. The audience mainly consisted of university students, civil society activists, journalists, community elders, members of the general public, and high school students.
The debate was broadcast live on Shamshad TV, radio, and social media platforms, allowing a wider audience to follow the discussion and receive key messages on inclusive and informed participation in the presidential elections.
