AWEDO marked Teachers’ Day in Kabul with an event recognizing the dedication of teachers and the important role they play in educating, guiding, and inspiring Afghanistan’s children and young people. The gathering brought together teachers, students, community representatives, and education supporters. It provided an opportunity to express appreciation for educators who continue to serve their communities and help learners build knowledge, confidence, and hope for the future.
During the event, participants reflected on the contribution of teachers to literacy, personal development, social responsibility, and community resilience.
