Women’s Entrepreneurship Program
Entrepreneurship provides women with a pathway to develop income-generating activities and participate more actively in local economies. AWEDO’s entrepreneurship program focuses on practical knowledge and confidence needed to start or strengthen small enterprises.
Business planning, budgeting, record keeping, marketing, customer relations, product development, and understanding local markets are important foundations for small-business management. Training helps participants turn ideas into more structured plans.
Entrepreneurship support is strengthened through mentoring and networks. Women can benefit from opportunities to exchange experiences, identify common challenges, and build relationships with customers, suppliers, and other business stakeholders.
AWEDO’s goal is not simply to encourage business start-up, but to support more sustainable economic participation. Stronger skills, financial awareness, confidence, and market knowledge helps women make informed decisions about their enterprises.
