Career readiness helps young women prepare for realistic pathways into further training, employment, entrepreneurship, and other forms of economic participation. AWEDO’s workshops addressed practical skills that improve preparedness for professional environments.
Communication, goal setting, workplace conduct, CV preparation, interview skills, and career planning help participants understand how to present their abilities and make informed choices. These skills can be useful across different sectors and livelihood pathways.
The workshops also emphasize confidence and planning. Participants learn to identify their strengths, research opportunities, prepare for conversations with employers or partners, and set achievable development goals.
